Hello Home Seekers,
Just a thought on where to raise your family. I was born and raised in San Diego and as of summer 2004, I've settled my roots in Meridian, Idaho. Just minutes from down town Boise, our eloquent town gives the feeling of rural meets metropolitan. Pastures with live stock all around, yet Starbucks is less than 2 miles away. We would just die for a "White Christmas" for more than 24 hours but snow never seems to stay much longer. "Californians" wouldn't know how to drive in it anyway! Our four seasons here in Meridian couldn't be any nicer and the change is always exciting and drastic. Winter skiing is great, only 11 miles to the bottom of Bogus Basin, however floating the Boise River is my absolute favorite passing time. Just a 15 minute drive, resulting in a two hour river rafting experience, doesn't get much better. Many walking & bike paths, great sun sets, as well as terrific schools, I wouldn't want to raise my family anywhere else!
